Uppercase letters A-Z, digits 0-9, and spaces are supported via a built-in bitmap font. Lowercase letters are automatically uppercased; other characters (punctuation, accents, non-Latin scripts) are skipped but still reserve their column width.

Why is the output image size not exact?

The tool renders text onto a generously sized canvas first, then crops tightly to the actual bounding box of the drawn pixels plus a small margin, so the final size depends on how many characters you entered and at what scale.

Can I make a transparent-background icon?

Yes, the background color defaults to fully transparent (alpha 0). Set a background color with alpha 255 if you want an opaque background instead.
